Influence of non-uniform ultrasonic vibration on casting fluidity of liquid aluminum alloy

چکیده
The application of ultrasonic vibration to the casting process can be realized through mould (die) vibration. However, resonant is always accompanied by a non-uniform distribution at different parts, which may induce complex liquid flow and affect fluidity during filling process. influence on AlSi9Cu3 alloy was studied with gradients. It found that generate two opposite effects fluidity: first, cavitation in melt induced promotes fluidity; second, toward weak areas turbulence there, consequently decreasing fluidity. When are violent enough offset promoting effect fluidity, will finally resultant decrease proportional gradient.
