Influence of Leadership Styles of Women Entrepreneurs on their Psychological Wellbeing

Purpose: The aim of this study to examine the relationship between different leadership styles (transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire) psychological wellbeing women entrepreneurs, considering potential moderating effects demographic factors. Theoretical framework: is grounded in Full Range Leadership Theory theory wellbeing, with understanding how may impact entrepreneurs. Design/methodology/approach: A cross-sectional survey design was employed, utilizing a purposive sample 328 entrepreneurs India. Data were collected using Multifactor Questionnaire (MLQ) General Health (GHQ-12). Multiple regression moderation analyses conducted investigate relationships styles, Results: results indicated that transformational positively significantly associated (p < .001), while transactional laissez-faire negatively = .021 p .001, respectively). overall model explained 25% variance (F(3, 324) 35.69, .001). No significant factors (age, education level, years experience, business size) on found (all > .05). Conclusion: findings suggest beneficial for whereas have detrimental effects. consistent across factors, indicating generalizability results. Research, Practical & Social implications: This has several managerial implications, emphasizing importance promoting among Managers organizations should invest development, create supportive organizational culture, prioritize employee performance management, talent retention, diversity inclusion initiatives foster conducive environment thrive. Originality/value: addresses gap literature by examining influence exploring providing novel insights into contribute their success wellbeing.
