چکیده
Natural gas hydrates (primarily methane hydrates) are considered to be an important and promising unconventional source of hydrocarbons. Most natural hydrate accumulations exist in pore space associated with reservoir rocks. Therefore, studies porous media particular interest, as well as, the phase equilibria hydrates, including determination equilibrium water content (nonclathrated water). Nonclathrated is analogous unfrozen permafrost soils has a significant effect on properties hydrate-bearing reservoirs. hydrate-saturated will depend many factors: pressure, temperature, composition, mineralization water, etc. In this paper, study mostly focused hydrate-forming pressure nonclathrated soils. To solve problem, simple thermodynamic equations were proposed which require data activity (or content). Additionally, it possible recalculate from one another using equations. The comparison showed sufficiently good agreement between calculated its direct measurements for investigated discrepancy was ~0.15 wt% comparable accuracy measurements. It established that highly nonlinear. For example, most pronounced observed range 6.0 MPa. developed technique can used different gases such methane, ethane, propane, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, various mixtures, gases.

Prediction of excess pore pressure due to dissociation of gas hydrate within sandy soils
The small hydrate concept (SHC) was proposed to predict the generated excess pore water pressure due to dissociation of gas hydrate within sandy soils. This concept was then used to calculate excess pore water pressure in the Storegga slide of which gas hydrate dissociation may have contributed. Since the excess pore water pressure calculated by the SHC resulted in the considerable loss of stif...
متن کاملGas hydrate-related sedimentary pore pressure changes offshore Angola
The thickness of the free gas column below the base of the gas hydrate stability zone is a proxy for the pore pressure in the free gas bearing sediments underneath. In the study area the pore over-pressrues derived under this assumption range between 0 and 1430 kPa ± 30% which appear to be the typical maximum over-pressure that the gas hydrate sediments can withstand before hydro-fracturing occ...
متن کاملInfluence of water and sand content on adhesion of clayey soils
Clogging occurs during mechanical tunneling with a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) because of adhesion of clayey soils to the cutterhead and conveyor system. The present study examined the effects of water and sand contents on clogging in Montmorillonite clayeysoil. Testing was carried out using an adhesion test device on 28 samples with different water and sand contents to determine adhesionstress...
متن کاملInvestigation of the Hydrate Formation Equilibrium Conditions of Natural Gas
One of the main problems in oil recovery via the gas injection is the formation of hydrates in thelines. In order to prevent the formation of hydrate in these lines, which leads to the blockage andsometimes explosion, at first, the equilibrium formation conditions must be determined and then toprevent its formation by changing the thermodynamic conditions or by adding the inhibitors. In thisres...
