Influence of Employees Motivational Factors on Total Quality Management Implementation in the Construction Industry

This study determines the employees’ motivational factors and their influence on Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation in construction industry. The instrument used was a survey questionnaire with sample size of 536 out 641 questionnaires which were administered to population consists top management Ghanaian analysis carried using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) technique. identified following that successful TQM industry: Teamwork, Recognition employees, Conducive working environment, Employee involvement activities, Education training/re-training staff, Salary/position promotion, Bonus scheme, commitment, reward, Availability suggestion forum for employees. findings revealed all considered have high therefore suggests managers should consider these when applying principle Consequently, employees are motivated will help achieve industry subsequently give best effort accomplish job.
