چکیده
Bunch-holes blasting (several blastholes arranged in a bunch with short spacing and detonated simultaneously to form large common crater) is typically used underground mines increase efficiency under single free surface. Considering the low accuracy of pyrotechnic detonators, which are commonly Chinese mines, bunch-holes same nominal times actually short-delay blasting, actual delay intervals induced by scatter detonators can lead unsuccessful bunch-hole seriously affects rock fragmentation. In this study, theoretical analysis firstly conducted explore mechanism formation time new surface defined as critical interval holes. Then, formula forming deduced determine blasting. detonator, probability method quantitatively analyse successful different detonators. Field experiments performed verify results. This research demonstrates that detonator increases, generally decreases. addition, charge length also has an impact on probability, positively correlated but not dramatic scatter. Hence, it recommended use high-precision or low-segment for ensure quality cutting

Implementation of Hyperbolic Tangent Function to Estimate Size Distribution of Rock Fragmentation by Blasting in Open Pit Mines
Rock fragmentation is one of the desired results of rock blasting. So, controlling and predicting it, has direct effects on operational costs of mining. There are different ways that could be used to predict the size distribution of fragmented rocks. Mathematical relations have been widely used in these predictions. From among three proposed mathematical relations, one was selected in this stud...
متن کاملApplication of Confined Blasting in Water-Filled Deep Holes to Control Strong Rock Pressure in Hard Rock Mines
In extra-thick coal seams, mining operations can lead to large-scale disturbances, complex overburden structures, and frequent and strong strata behavior in the stope, which are serious threats to mine safety. This study analyzed the overburden structure and strata behavior and proposed the technique of confined blasting in water-filled deep holes as a measure to prevent strong rock pressure. I...
متن کاملPrediction of Rock Fragmentation Due to Blasting in Sarcheshmeh Copper Mine Using Artificial Neural Networks
The main objective in production blasting is to achieve a proper fragmentation. In this paper, rock fragmentation the Sarcheshmeh copper mine has been predicted by developing a model using artificial neural network. To construct the model, parameters such as burden to spacing ratio, holediameter, stemming, total charge-per-delay and point load index have been considered as input parameters. A m...
متن کاملInfluence of Meteorological Factors on Date Bunch Fading Disorder
Date bunch fading disorder (DBFD) has been one of the major issues facing date palm growers in recent decades. This order has caused high and non-compensable losses to date palm product. Despite numerous studies, predominantly focusing on the causes and mitigation methods of this disorder, no precise influencing factors have been established and practices which can completely control it are not...
متن کاملPrediction of fragmentation due to blasting using mutual information and rock engineering system; case study: Meydook copper mine
One of the key outcomes of blasting in mines is found to be rock fragmentation which profoundly affects downstream expenses. In fact, size prediction of rock fragmentation is the first leap towards the optimization of blasting design parameters. This paper makes an attempt to present a model to predict rock fragmentation using Mutual Information (MI) in Meydook copper mine. Ten parameters are c...
