Influence of Applied Load and Sliding Velocity on Tribocorrosion Behavior of 7075-T6 Aluminum Alloy

In this paper, the tribocorrosion behavior and synergistic effect of 7075-T6 aluminum alloy under different applied loads (100, 150, 200 N) sliding velocities rpm) were studied in a 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution. Tribocorrosion experiments conducted tribobocorrosion system with pin-on-disc testing. The results show that interaction between load velocity significantly affects mechanical electrochemical properties alloy. Increases will accelerate corrosion. Due to corrosion wear, wear rate is almost unchanged as increases. When increased from 100 N, 1.97 × 10?5 2.08 mm3/N·m, delamination phenomenon was aggravated.
