چکیده
Betta fish are freshwater ornamental that very popular and have quite high economic value, but the reproductive process still depends on spawning season, so an increase in potential is needed. The experiment was conducted order to determine role of each induction Oocite development (Oodev) hormone diet betta female final maturation morphology gonads. Completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor consisting 5 treatments 3 replications. main factors Oodev dosage: 0.0 mL.kg-1 weigh; 0.5 fish; 1.0 1.5 2.0 fish. We used 135 broodstock initial weight range ± 1-2.15 g tail-1 at stage II gonad maturation. Fish were fed three a day 07.00 am, 12.00 am 05.00 pm satiation level during 45 days. During maturation, morphology, survival rates water quality observed. results show could improve up 266.66%. This result comparatively higher than induction, produce 100% mature broodstock. Thus, optimal dose 1.16 can 2-3 times faster frequency out season.Keywords: Female splendens; Feed; Final maturation;

Genetics of the Siamese Fighting Fish, Betta Splendens.
ETTA SPLENDENS more commonly known as the Siamese fighting fish has B been popular in aquariums of western Europe and America for over 35 years. Its domestication and consequent inbreeding antedates the introduction into the West by 60 or 70 years. Selection for pugnacity, long fins (see Figure l ) , and bright colors over this long period has produced a number of phenotypes, none of which is v...
متن کاملCardiorespiratory physiological phenotypic plasticity in developing air‐breathing anabantid fishes (Betta splendens and Trichopodus trichopterus)
Developmental plasticity of cardiorespiratory physiology in response to chronic hypoxia is poorly understood in larval fishes, especially larval air-breathing fishes, which eventually in their development can at least partially "escape" hypoxia through air breathing. Whether the development air breathing makes these larval fishes less or more developmentally plastic than strictly water breathin...
متن کاملMetabolic Costs of Aggressive Behaviour in the Siamese Fighting Fish, Betta splendens
Aggressive conflicts between males are often resolved by means of multiple ritualized agonistic displays without damaging escalation. Apparently, in such cases by using those displays opponents exchange important motivational and physical information on which they base a decision to stay or leave the interaction. In the Siamese fighting fish, the time spent spreading the dorsal fin and erecting...
