چکیده
Abstract Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is an excellent soft mold material with the advantages of precise replication, easy demolding, and low production cost. However, strength hardness PDMS are relatively low, cannot be directly inductively heated. In this study, embedded ferromagnetic powders to increase its make it heatable. Direct induction heating can raise inherent temperature, efficiency by 100% compared pure PDMS, improve shortcomings uneven surface temperature distribution from high thermal resistance. Furthermore, adding metal powder conductivity a high-low gap as 1.6 °C. Adding nickel makes 2.29 times higher than that withstand pressure 7 kg cm −2 , which very conducive hot embossing. This study used self-designed five-sided cladding iron block base for apparatus quickly emboss deep V-groove microstructures on polycarbonate (PC) film; replication performance reach more 97%.

Mold cleaning with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for nanoimprint lithography
We present a simple and effective mold cleaning method for nanoimprint lithography. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) prepolymer is spin-coated onto a contaminated imprint mold, thermally cured in ambient environment, and then peeled off afterwards. Contaminants of 100s m to sub-50 nm sizes are effectively cleaned within one cycle. During the cleaning process, a very thin PDMS film (1~2 nm) is unifo...
متن کاملNumerical study of induction heating by micro / nano magnetic particles in hyperthermia
Hyperthermia is one of the first applications of nanotechnology in medicine by using micro/nano magnetic particles that act based on the heat of ferric oxide nanoparticles or quantum dots in an external alternating magnetic field. In this study, a two-dimensional model of body and tumor tissues embedded is considered. Initially, the temperature distribution is obtained with respect to tumor pro...
متن کاملDevelopment of Ti-Coated Ferromagnetic Needle, Adaptable for Ablation Cancer Therapy by High-Frequency Induction Heating
To develop a novel ablation therapy for human solid cancer, the heating properties of a ferromagnetic carbon steel rod and a prototype Ti-coated needle using this carbon steel rod, were investigated in several high-frequency outputs at 300 kHz. In the former, the heating property was drastically different among the three inclination angles (θ = 0°, 45° and 90°) relative to the magnetic flux dir...
متن کاملPhase-field model of multiferroic composites: Domain structures of ferroelectric particles embedded in a ferromagnetic matrix
The ferroelectric domain structures in 1-3 type bulk magnetoelectric composites were studied using the phase-field method. The ferroelectric polarization distributions in triangle, square, circle, and other polygonsshaped rods embedded in a ferromagnetic matrix were obtained. The influences of ferroelectric particle size and symmetry and the surrounding magnetic phase medium on the stability of...
