Pseudogap Induced Antiferromagnetic Spin Correlation in High-Temperature Superconductors
The pseudogap phenomena observed on cuprate high temperature superconductors are investigated based on the exact diagonalization method on the finite cluster t-J model. The results show the presence of the gap-like behavior in the temperature dependence of various magnetic properties; the NMR relaxation rate, the neutron scattering intensity and the static susceptibility. The calculated spin co...
متن کاملCollective spin 1 singlet phase in high-pressure oxygen.
Oxygen, one of the most common and important elements in nature, has an exceedingly well-explored phase diagram under pressure, up to and beyond 100 GPa. At low temperatures, the low-pressure antiferromagnetic phases below 8 GPa where O2 molecules have spin S = 1 are followed by the broad apparently nonmagnetic ε phase from about 8 to 96 GPa. In this phase, which is our focus, molecules group s...
متن کاملHigh - energy spin effects and structure of elastic scattering amplitude
A behavior of imaginary and real parts of the high-energy elastic hadron scattering amplitude is examined in the diffraction region. It is shown that the interference between Coulomb and hadronic scattering at small momentum transfers and especially in the region of diffractive minimum can bring some information about the structure of the hadron spin-non-flip amplitude.
متن کاملThe Amplitude Dependent Spin Tune and the Invariant Spin Field in High Energy Proton Accelerators
There is some ambiguity in the definitions and use of the concepts of spin tune and spin-orbit resonance on synchrobetatron orbits. We clarify these issues and provide a numerical illustration of the internal consistency of our definitions using the computer code SPRINT for HERA with a standard Siberian Snake arrangement. Furthermore, we demonstrate the calculation of the invariant spin field u...
متن کاملSpin fluctuations and the pseudogap in organic superconductors
We show that there are strong similarities in the spin-lattice relaxation of nonmagnetic organic chargetransfer salts and that these similarities can be understood in terms of spin fluctuations. Further, we show that, in all of the -phase organic superconductors for which there is nuclear-magnetic-resonance data, the energy scale for the spin fluctuations coincides with the energy scale for the...
