چکیده
Agricultural lands are gradually being contaminated by heavy metals (HMs) obtained from urbanization and human activities. Lead (Pb) is one of the major easily enters into food cycle causes different health abnormalities. So elimination this dangerous metal surface water crucial in regard phyto-extraction based phytoremediation an environmentally safe procedure. Again, removal process can be amplified through use plant growth regulators exogenously. With aim, experiment was conducted to know efficiency indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) on Pb aquatic hyper-accumulator Ipomoea aquatica. The plants were grown hydroponically with 200ppm treated IAA exogenous spray or mixed Hoagland solution (HS) both. control treatment HS supplemented Pb. From experiment, it observed that a great reduction parameters as suffered stress. Treatment Control + (spray+dissolve), produced tallest plants, longest roots maximum dry weight. On other hand, these got declined case (control). Maximum accumulated root, stem followed leaf for (spray+dissolve). caused less accumulation parts. So, bioaccumulation factor (BCF) shoot 35.87, 15.33 9.15 respectively (spray+dissolve) treatment. In root translocation, translocation (TF) value (0.5118) found (spray) than treatments. Again leaf, TF (0.6051) HM (Control) minimum (0.4469) (spray). study, confirmed that, successfully assist bodies aquatica potential hyper-accumulating plant.

Extractability of protein in water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica Forsk., I. reptans Poir), a possible source of food protein concentrate was examined. Fresh and fresh frozen leaves were extracted by the conventional bufferhomogenate method at room temperature and by a method involving pre-treatment of the leaves with polar and nonpolar solvents. Pre-treatment of leaves with dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)...

Arthrobacter species, isolated from the leaf cavities and the microsporocarps of the aquatic fern species Azolla pinnata and Azolla filiculoides, produced indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) in culture when the precursor tryptophan was added to the medium. No IAA production was detected in the absence of tryptophan. Maximum IAA formation was obtained in the first 2 d of incubation. Part of the tryptopha...

متن کاملConversion of indole-3-ethanol to indole-3-acetic Acid in cucumber seedling shoots.
Indoleethanol-(14)C was applied to intact cucumber seedlings and to hypocotyl segments. The presence of indoleacetic acid-(14)C in tissue extracts was demonstrated by thin layer radiochromatography. There was no evidence of conversion of indoleacetic acid to indoleethanol. It is suggested that the growth-promoting activity of indoleethanol is due to its conversion to indoleacetic acid.
