Indirect Effective Controlled Split Source Inverter-Based Parallel Active Power Filter for Enhancing Power Quality

چکیده

The existing solutions for reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) using different control algorithms in shunt active power filters (SAPFs) are complex. This work proposes a split source inverter (SSI)-based SAPF improving the quality nonlinear load system. advantage of SSI topology is that it single stage boost with an inductor and capacitor where conventional two stages intermediate DC-DC conversion discarded. research inventive schemes having loops; outer loop regulates DC link voltage whereas inner current shapes profile. mechanism implemented here effective, less complex, indirect scheme compared to time domain algorithms. Here, intelligent fuzzy logic which facilitates reference generation scheme. simulation said system was carried out MATLAB/Simulink environment. simulations were conditions (RL RC) controller (FLC) PI controllers (voltage control) hysteresis (HCC) sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) (current control). results extracted dynamic demonstrated THD can be reduced 0.76% combination SPWM FLC. Therefore, proposed proved effective viable THD. would highly applicable renewable energy such as Photovoltaic (PV) Fuel cell (FC).
