Indirect Drying and Coking Characteristics of Coking Coal with Soda Residue Additive

To improve indirect drying efficiency, the effect of soda residue on characteristics coking coal were studied using a self-made system. A tube furnace was used in dry distillation samples with residue, and coke properties analyzed. The results indicated that has significant influence increase heating rate temperature distribution range 90 to 110 °C. With addition 2%, 5%, 10% rates increased by 11.5%, 25.3%, 37.3%, respectively at show 5% decreases carbon loss quantity 4.67, 4.99, 8.82 g, respectively. mechanical strength satisfies industrial conditions when ratio ranges from 2% 5%. Soda can active point dissolution reaction inhibit internal solution. Economically, mixed have an obvious energy saving advantage process. Energy analysis found it reduce cost input 20% than normal method.
