Incorporating Monitors in Reactive Synthesis Without Paying the Price

Temporal synthesis attempts to construct reactive programs that satisfy a given declarative (LTL) formula. Practitioners have found it challenging work exclusively with specifications, and languages combine modelling specifications more useful. Synthesised controllers may also need pre-existing or manually constructed programs. In this paper we explore an approach combines of in the presence existing behaviour model as monitor, benefit not having reason about state space monitor. We suggest formal language automata monitors non-repeating repeating triggers for LTL formulas. use symbolic memory triggers, resulting strictly expressive succinct than regular expression triggers. give compositional procedure language, where reasoning monitor is minimal. To show advantages our apply requiring counting constraints over arbitrarily long sequence events, can see power parametrisation, easily handled approach. provide tool (in form automata) language.
