چکیده
Abstract Background Calcium oxalate is the most frequent urinary stone component; it exists in three different crystalline forms. In this case, common calcium monohydrate (whewellite). However, Morocco one of countries that has used traditional medicine based on natural plants to treat many diseases including urolithiasis. respect, medicinal for purpose are Herniaria hirsuta L. , Opuntia ficus-indica flowers, Zea mays styles and Ammi visnaga seeds. The work study experimentally effectiveness each plant dissolution whewellite stones. Methods 1 L boiled saline solution (9 g/L NaCl), 5 g extract powder been introduced. Thereafter, mixture was left soaked 15 min then filtered. Further, a specific installation resembles circuit conducted laboratory. As starting step, stones placed contact with solutions 8 weeks. Two other have correct loss mass: first potassium citrate 3 mmol/L served as positive control, second NaCl 9 without reference point. Results After weeks, mass about 54.88 ± 1.32% Z. styles, 49.86 1.69% H. L., 47.10 1019% A. 44.97 1.76% flowers O. while presence witnesses 21.95 0.76% (C Pot) 21.05 1.07% case solutions. Conclusion Our experiments show extracts four specially styles. These can be effective remedies oxalocalcic stones’ dissolution.

Urinary calculi constitute one of the oldest afflictions of humans as well as animals, which are occurring globally. The calculi vary in shape, size and composition, which influence their clinical course. They are usually of the mixed-type with varying percentages of the ingredients. In medical management of urinary calculi, either the nature of calculi is to be known or the exact composition o...
متن کاملInternalization of Calcium Oxalate Calculi Developed in Narrow Cavities
We describe the case of a patient with calcium oxalate monohydrate and calcium oxalate dihydrate calculi occluded in cavities. All those calculi were located inside narrow cavities covered with a thin epithelium that permits their visualization. Urinary biochemical analysis showed high calciuria, not hypercalciuria, hypocitraturia, and a ratio [calcium]/[citrate] >0.33. The existence of cavitie...
