چکیده
Objectives: To evaluate the antimicrobial effects of experimental root canal medicaments on Enterococcus faecalis and Candida albicans day 3 7 using quantitative polymerase chain reaction (Q-PCR) analyses. Materials Methods: 240 single-rooted, single-canalled human teeth were used. Root canals shaped mechanically embedded in acrylic blocks, then sterilized an autoclave. The samples divided into two groups infected with E. C. albicans, subgroups (n=10); calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2), triple paste (TAP), double (DP), modified (MDP), lactoferrin (Lf), negative positive groups. At end days, paper points containing placed empty Eppendorf tubes, DNA was isolated. Real-time Q-PCR applied data analyzed statistically. Results: each medicine increased from days to 7. Ca(OH)2 TAP showed similar eradication rates for (P > 0.05). There no significant difference between DP, MDP Lf microorganisms at both 0.05), except amount eradicated by DP which caught percentages < Conclusions: Experimental pastes demonstrated efficiancy those used routinely endodontic clinic. It is promising that a very biocompatible material can be different combinations as intracanal medicament.

متن کاملAn in vivo evaluation of antimicrobial effects of Persica herbal mouthwash on Candida albicans and Enterococcus faecalis
BACKGROUND AND AIM: Due to their antimicrobial and dental plaque control activity, mouthwashes lead to an improvement in oral health. Although chemical mouthwashes have demonstrated the greatest antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, their usage has been limited because of their numerous side effects. This study was conducted in vivo to determine the antibacterial and antifungal effects o...

متن کاملAntimicrobial activity of three different endodontic sealers on the enterococcus faecalis and lactobacillus (in vitro)
Introduction: Growth and proliferation of the remaining microorganisms within the root canals may destroy the surrounding tissue of the root and leads to periapical lesion. Consequently, the complete elimination of microorganisms from the root canal is a n important goal of endodontic therapy. Endodontic sealers do not provide complete seal in root canal system, and micro spaces have always rem...
