IN SILICO TOXICITY OF ANTHOCYANIN COMPOUNDS (CYANIDIN AND PEONIDIN)

Backgrounds: Cyanidin and peonidin, anthocyanin compounds, have many in silico, vitro, vivo activities, including antioxidant, anticancer, antihyperlipidemic, antidiabetic. Toxicity testing is carried out to determine the potential hazard that may be produced by test compound. Objective: This study was aimed silico toxicity of anthocyanins (cyanidin peonidin) using Toxtree v3.1.0 software. Methods: In 2D structures cyanidin peonidin with Cramer rules, Verhaar scheme, Benigni/Bossa rulebase, Kroes TTC decision tree, Eye Irritation/Corrosion Skin parameters. Data analysis on results tested parameters descriptively. Results: The showed two compounds same category for Rules (class III), Decision Tree (substance would not expected safety concern), Rulebase (Negatif genotoxic nongenotoxic carcinogenicity), (not irritating or corrosive). Different are shown Scheme, where included class 5 (cannot classified based this parameter), while 1 (narcosis basic toxicity). Conclusion: Based toxicity, a chemical structure has but these neither potentially nor non-genotoxic carcinogenicity, toxic skin eyes. mechanism cannot narcosis toxicity.Keywords: Anthocyanin; Cyanidin; Peonidin; Toxicity; Silico
