چکیده
The immune system provides an intricate, balanced response to combat the effects of inflammatory stimuli. It incorporates both positive and negative feedback from multiple physiological systems such as cardiovascular endocrine including mechanisms functioning on a variety time scales. They have been studied individually via scientific experiments using mathematical modeling. However, more analysis is needed study interactions between these three during event. We present first dynamical model studying immune, responses 2 ng/kg bolus dose endotoxin. calibrated experimental data two endotoxin challenge studies we use this investigate dosage, administration timing method. Our shows that most repercussions clear within 24 hours, but can linger for up 72 hours.

Immune-endocrine interactions in endometriosis.
Endocrine and immune systems are among the most essential regulators of endometrial physiology, and immune-endocrine interactions are likely to be involved in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. Endometriosis is an inflammatory, estrogen-dependent disease defined by the presence of viable endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. Impaired immune response that results in inadequate removal o...
متن کاملdbNEI: a specific database for neuro-endocrine-immune interactions.
OBJECTIVES To construct a specific database for the neuro-endocrine-immune (NEI) interactions. METHODS/RESULTS Version 1.0 database for neuro-endocrine-immune (dbNEI) serves as a web-based knowledge resource specific for the NEI systems. dbNEI collects 1,058 NEI related signal molecules, their 940 interactions and 72 affiliated tissues from the Cell Signaling Networks database, manually selec...
متن کاملOfatumumab Monoclonal Antibody Affinity Maturation Through in silico Modeling
Background: Ofatumumab, an anti-CD20 mAb, was approved in 2009 for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. This mAb acts through immune-mediated mechanisms, in particular complement-dependent cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity by natural killer cells as well as antibody-dependent phagocytosis by macrophages. Apoptosis induction is another mechanism of this antibody...

متن کاملIn Silico Modeling of the Immune System: Cellular and Molecular Scale Approaches
The revolutions in biotechnology and information technology have produced clinical data, which complement biological data. These data enable detailed descriptions of various healthy and diseased states and responses to therapies. For the investigation of the physiology and pathology of the immune responses, computer and mathematical models have been used in the last decades, enabling the repres...
