In-plane and out-of-plane characterization of a 3D angle interlock textile composite

چکیده

The present work focuses on the characterization of in-plane and out-of-plane behavior a three-dimensional angle-interlock woven composite. In-plane tensile compression tests, short beam shear tests through-the-thickness compressive were carried out to assess mechanical composite material. results are presented in terms stress–strain responses, elastic moduli, failure strains strengths. In addition, material properties measured using an ultrasonic method. Results compared with values determined by testing. A good correlation is observed which demonstrates pertinence this technique measure particular through-thickness
