Dr Ágnes Révay (1952–2018) a respected mycologist, the curator of microscopic fungi collection Hungarian Natural History Museum was interested predominantly in floristics, taxonomy and ecology fungi, especially dematiaceous aquatic hyphomycetes, stauro- scolecosporous myxomycetes. More than 70 scientific papers, her revisions collections, four new genera (Gorgomyces, Hyalocamposporium, Hydrometrospora, Tulipispora) 15 species described by her, Retiarius revayae named after preserve memories.
