چکیده
In Australia, wheat planting is preferred in June compared with May to kill early cohorts of weeds before planting, particularly fields a history high weed infestation. However, grain yield often reduced for planting. This study aimed investigate the integrated effect dates (May 7, i.e., early-planted, and late-planted), seeding rates (100 200 seeds m?2), control treatments (nontreated control, pyroxasulfone 100 g a.i. ha?1, triallate 800 trifluralin 600 prosulfocarb 2000 ha?1 + S-metolachlor 300 ha?1) on Avena ludoviciana (Durieu) yield. For early-planted wheat, pyroxasulfone-treated plots had higher (5.5 Mg at low rate (4.7 ha?1). Pyroxasulfone using produced than each treatment late-planted wheat. varied did not influence yield, irrespective treatments. gave similar yields, levels these were A resulted an increased by 42%, 27%, 28% nontreated, trifluralin, S-metolachlor, respectively, rate. Weed biomass seed production lower Pyroxasulfone- triallate-treated accrued nontreated plots. Averaged over treatments, was highest (2700 m?2) crop planted rate, which 42% late early- crops 68% 48%, These results suggest that can A. effectively, limit prove profitable option due improved productivity
