Improving the manufacturability of floor slabs by pre-installing elements that partially replace reinforced concrete and formwork

چکیده
The article discusses well-known and perspective constructive technological systems for the installation of monolithic precast-monolithic floor slabs civil industrial buildings. It shows examples expediency using all kinds inserts made plastic other light materials products replacing a part heavy reinforced concrete. An original resource-saving method with simultaneous increase in degree their construction readiness is proposed. This effect achieved by reducing own weight use permanent formwork. Reduction slab ensured volumetric lightweight trapezoidal or rectangular inserts, preferably expanded polystyrene, during its installation. formwork will eliminate need subsequent performance labor-intensive finishing insulation works. To confirm effectiveness proposed installation, operation two was modeled LIRA SAPR computing complex - concrete innovative solid slab. Having analyzed calculated forces, deformations corresponding consumption reinforcement concrete, comparative indicators were obtained typical As result, significant savings material cost have been proven.

Behaviour of fibre reinforced concrete slabs
This paper presents a comparison of the properties of concrete slabs when two types of fibres are added. One specimen had no fibres and acted as a control specimen. The remaining four specimens had steel and polypropylene fibres added in the volumetric ratio of 0.5% and 1.0%. The dimensions of the slab specimens were 820×820×80 mm and were supported by four rollers at their edges. A displacemen...
متن کاملStructural Consideration in Design of Reinforced Concrete Slabs with Openings
Over 90% of framed structures in Uganda are built from reinforced concrete. Prior to the 1990’s, most buildings had no openings in slabs, yet in city centers buildings butt against each other with widows at front and back only. This limited retail activities to front rooms of the ground floor and the buildings had to be narrow. A baseline survey of 50 shopping malls in Kampala Central Business ...
متن کاملNumerical Analysis of Punching Shear Failure of Reinforced Concrete Slabs
Nearly no load bearing behaviour of reinforced concrete members allows such varied interpretations and complex discussions as the shear behaviour. Especially the three-dimensional problem of the punching shear failure of reinforced concrete members is internationally discussed. Nevertheless up to now, there is no unified design approach or even an overall accepted design model. Especially for l...
متن کاملPunching shear strength of steel fibre reinforced concrete slabs
The ultimate strength of reinforced concrete slabs is frequently governed by the punching shear capacity, which may be increased with addition of traditional fitments such as reinforcing steel, headed studs or shear heads. In addition to these traditional methods of strengthening against punching, steel fibre reinforcement has proved to be an effective and viable alternative. The addition of fi...
متن کاملExperimental Modal Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Square Slabs
The aim of this paper is to perform experimental modal analysis (EMA) of reinforced concrete (RC) square slabs. EMA is the process of determining the modal parameters (Natural Frequencies, damping factors, modal vectors) of a structure from a set of frequency response functions FRFs (curve fitting). Although, experimental modal analysis (or modal testing) has grown steadily in popularity since ...
