Physic nut (Jatropha curcas) is a bio-fuel and multipurpose crop that can be used to produce biodiesel, biogas latex. The toxic substances – curcin diterpenoids in raw Jatropha leaves seeds scare grazing animals away this suggests the possibility of using plant as live fence curb cattle menace which one major constraints facing production Sub-Saharan Africa especially Nigeria. Despite its nutritive, medicinal economic values, most neglected crops Nigeria sub-Sahara at large. There often loss vigour seedlings due high seed oil content results rancidity weak seedling growth. An experiment was conducted Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo, state, determine appropriate nursery media towards improving curcas sub-Saharan Africa.
