Improving Heat Exchange Performance of Massive Concrete Using Annular Finned Cooling Pipes

Cracks will be generated due to high internal temperature of the massive concrete. Postcooling method is widely employed as a standard cooling technique decrease poured mass In this paper, an annular finned pipe which can increase heat transfer area between flowing water and its surrounding concrete proposed enhance effect postcooling method. Analysis interior variation distribution block cooled by system traditional was conducted through finite element models. It found that, for using system, peak value further lowered. Compared with pipe, highest appears earlier than that pipe.
