Improvement of Gas–Liquid Separation Performance of Engine Oil Using Swirling
نویسندگان
چکیده
The purpose of this study is to improve the gas–liquid separation performance an oil tank and establish a design method enable only in tank. Since it difficult for conventional tanks completely remove bubbles remaining hydraulic oil, essential introduce technology actively separate from oil. Therefore, bubble removal was improved even under condition added lateral acceleration by appropriately generating swirl flow. First, acrylic model used verify accuracy performing numerical analysis using various turbulence models. Then, parameters remover, such as size tank, were studied. In addition, examined.

the role of application of dynamic assessment approach in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels
the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...
In-line Oil-water Separation in Swirling Flow
An in-line oil-water separator has been designed and is investigated for singleand two-phase flow. Numerical single-phase flow results show an annular reversed flow region. This flow pattern agrees qualitatively with results from measurements. In the two-phase flow simulations two different drag laws have been used to model the interaction between the phases. The velocity field of the singleand...

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Engine Performance Test of Cottonseed Oil Biodiesel
Two cottonseed oil biodiesel samples (cottonseed oil methyl esters, COME) produced in Clemson lab, together with other two commercial cottonseed oil biodiesels were evaluated on their engine performance with the No. 2 diesel fuel as a reference. The results revealed that emission of CO, CO2 and NOx from cottonseed oil biodiesels was lower than that of the No. 2 diesel fuel. CO decreased by 13.8...
