Improvement of Electrical Conductivity and Thermal Stability of Polyaniline-Maghnite Nanocomposites

A new nanocomposite based on conducting polyaniline (PANI) and Algerian montmorillonite clay dubbed Maghnite is proposed to combine thermal properties (Mag). The PANI-Mag nanocompo-sites samples were made by in situ polymerization with CTABr (cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) as the galleries' organomodifier. In terms of ratio, electrical obtained nanocomposites are investigated. As amount increases, stability improves noticeably, measured gravimetric analysis. electric conductivity lower than that free PANI. device loaded 5 % clay, begins percolate decreases many orders magnitude. findings show largely independent loading dispersion.
