چکیده
For materials characterization, several methods have been developed. Most of them need a sample to be machined prior testing process. Hence, they are destructive and cannot used for in-situ radar absorbing coatings testing. This requires employing suitable measurement technique extract their electromagnetic properties quickly accurately. In this paper, the swept frequency probe reflection is proposed broadband nondestructive characterization using finite flange open-ended rectangular waveguide. The based on fact that an independent variable probe’s coefficient by which its data set selected points can directly measured in one step varying frequency. Finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method was adopted calculate coefficients at different test conditions. Simple interpolation approximation employed since dependent parameters. Error analysis numerically performed evaluate influences both size coated material thickness accuracy measurements, carried out samples X-band verify technique. Comparing with existing methods, simplifies speeds up process improves repeatability accuracy.

Guiding characteristics along with field distributions for different modes in a rectangular waveguide are numerically estimated using HFSS software when it is placed in free space. A comparative analysis is made for propagation constant, guided wavelength and characteristic impedance at C, X and Ku band to observe the deviation from well-known theoretical profiles. Strength of electric and magn...

Local scouring in the downstream of hydraulic structures is one of the important issues in river and hydraulic engineering, which involves a lot of costs every year, so the prediction of the rate of scour is important in hydraulic design. Side weirs are the most important of hydraulic structures that are used in passing flow. This study investigate the scouring due to falling jet from side weir...
متن کاملPhase Error Compensation Technique for Improved Synthetic Aperture Radar Performance
adar data contain phase errors whose sources include uncompensated platform motion and transmitter and receiver phase errors. Achieving theoretical resolution from a pulse compression system requires a method to minimize those phase errors. This article discusses a method of estimating and correcting phase errors in synthetic aperture radar data. The method requires that one or more stationary ...
