Implementation of Different MPPT Techniques in Solar PV Tree under Partial Shading Conditions

This paper presents the design and analytical modeling of proposed solar photovoltaic standalone system under varying environmental conditions. The consists a unique structure PV-tree, maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique, DC–DC converter. output voltage acquired from PV tree is low. A boost converter utilized to step-up required amount level. In this paper, appropriate duty cycle obtained for extracting optimum by using various MPPT mechanisms such as perturb observe (P&O), incremental conductance (INC), radial basis function network (RBFN)-based neural (NN). tree-based energy harvesting designed validated MATLAB/SIMULINK software real-time application. simulation results above-mentioned three techniques are compared with each other in order show effectiveness RBFN. RBFN-MPPT provides significant improvement efficiency 6.0% 5.72% P&O method INC at 1000 W/m2 irradiance condition. From results, it concluded that RBFN-based NN better less oscillation two algorithms.
