Impaired hematopoiesis is a serious complication after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). Bone marrow aplasia and peripheral cytopenias arise from primary secondary graft failure or poor function. Chimerism analysis useful to discriminate these conditions. By determining the pathogenesis of impaired hematopoiesis, timely appropriate treatment can be performed. Hematopoietic system principally consists cells bone microenvironment termed niches. Abnormality in progenitor and/or abnormality relevant niches give rise hematological diseases. Allo-HSCT intended cure each disease, replacing abnormal with derived normal donors. Therefore, for function allo-HSCT required proceed based on hematopoiesis. Recent progress this area suggests promising manipulations
