Impact sound prediction of finite floor structures with the modal transfer matrix method

چکیده

The transfer matrix method (TMM) is commonly employed for wave propagation analysis in layered media of fluid, elastic and porous nature. Up to now it has been used extensively analyze airborne sound transmission absorption. Its use impact investigated a limited extent, i.e. thick homogeneous plates infinite extent specific receiver points. This contribution aims broaden the scope such that global sound, radiated by finite floor structures containing elastic, fluid and/or layers, can be analyzed more robust way than previously available literature. A disadvantage conventional TMM only floors implemented. It possible remove this drawback using spatial windowing technique. Furthermore, modal behavior approximately taken into account projecting force onto mode shapes allowing those waves, corresponding wavenumbers, structure. Predictions power are made various bare floating systems both extent.

determinant of the hankel matrix with binomial entries

abstract in this thesis at first we comput the determinant of hankel matrix with enteries a_k (x)=?_(m=0)^k??((2k+2-m)¦(k-m)) x^m ? by using a new operator, ? and by writing and solving differential equation of order two at points x=2 and x=-2 . also we show that this determinant under k-binomial transformation is invariant.
