Impact of Varying Radio Power Density on Wireless Communications of RF Energy Harvesting Systems

Through field experiments, we observed a varying instantaneous charging capacity of the energy buffer with respect to dynamic intensity incident RF signal in harvesting system (RF-EHS). The dependency on power challenges existing models that assume constant capacity. In order accurately describe process real system, propose new clamp model. model reveals higher than sensitivity harvester circuit cannot always guarantee successful reception, especially when level is high while relatively weak. improve efficiencies harvest and utilization an RF-EHS, develop offline (i.e., non-causal) optimal online causal) suboptimal data transmission strategies based Simulation results show strategy can considerably throughput after taking into account caused by density air.
