چکیده
Objectives: Coronally Advance Flap (CAF) effectiveness has been extensively evaluated, but little information is available regarding the effect of tooth position. This study aimed to evaluate influence location on outcomes CAF with subepithelial connective tissue graft (SCTG) in treatment gingival recessions defects (GRs). Materials and Methods: Nineteen patients who a mean age 36.3 ±7.6 years (11women, 8 men), each contributing Miller Class I II GRs, were selected. Forty-four treated combination SCTG. Gingival recession depth (RD), width (RW), probing (PD), clinical attachment level (CAL) recorded at baseline 12 months postoperatively Results: The root coverage from 1year post-surgery was 89 % for maxillary GRs 68 mandibular GRs. RD RW decrease both groups (p<0.001), there no statistically significant difference between dentition. Both treatments showed satisfactory esthetic results (RES teeth 8.2 ±1.3 7.6 ± 1.1). Conclusions: findings current have shown that an effective procedure multible Besides, two (maxillary GRs) similar improvements evaluations. Keywords: Connective tissue, recession, surgical flaps, tooth.

Coronally advanced flap with and without connective tissue graft for the treatment of multiple gingival recessions: a comparative short- and long-term controlled randomized clinical trial.
AIM The aim of this study was to compare short- and long-term root coverage and aesthetic outcomes of the coronally advanced flap (CAF) alone or in combination with a connective tissue graft (CTG) for the treatment of multiple gingival recessions. METHODS Fifty patients with multiple (≥2) adjacent gingival recessions (≥2 mm) in the upper jaw were enrolled. Twenty-five patients were randomly a...
متن کاملSurgical treatment of localized gingival recessions using coronally advanced flaps with or without subepithelial connective tissue graft.
BACKGROUND A coronally advanced flap with subepithelial connective tissue graft is the gold standard surgical treatment of gingival recessions, since it offers a higher probability of achieving complete root coverage compared with other techniques. However, optimum short- and middle-term clinical results have also been obtained with coronally advanced flaps alone. The aim of the present study w...
