چکیده

This study looks at the short- and long-term effects of fossil fuels, renewable energy, nuclear energy on CO2 emissions in South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries from 1982 to 2021. We assess impacts SAARC’s current anticipated use nuclear, fossil, alternative energies by testing environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis. The applied second-generation unit root test, cointegration newly introduced AMG technique handle presence cross-sectional dependence. results indicate that EKC does not hold SAARC, a U-shaped quadratic link exists between GDP pollution. findings also reveal pollution SAARC is caused fuel, whereas using (REN) can cut While critical minimizing deterioration empirical show more than rising national wealth needed meet demands. According this study, should take lead achieving sustainable growth efficient clean energy.
