Impact of Lactobacillus Reuteri and Three Other Probiotics in Helicobacter Pylori Eradication

Background/Objectives: To assess the effectiveness and safeness of Lactobacillus reuteri additionally three other probiotics to conventional triple therapy against Heliobacter pylori.Materials Methods: We randomly selected 115 H. pylori positive dyspeptic patients, be treated for 14 days with therapy, without probiotics. Our first group 62 patients received while second 53 were reuteri, casei, acidophilus, Bifidobacterium lactis, all encapsulated in PharmaS Helicobalans capsules alongside therapy. One month after completion treatment, Helicobacter presence was evaluated. If test would turn out negative, it prove success eradication.Results: 38 (61,3%) successfully. In group, where added, eradication observed 37 them (69.8%).Despite fact that higher difference between two sides terms statistics non-significant (p=0.199). As side effects ordered 27 (43.5%) had complaints, secondary 17(32%). Again, there seen no statistically important sides.Conclusion: Including treatment may decrease increase success. Randomized prospective work on a larger scale is needed.
