Impact characteristics of soft composites using shear thickening fluid and natural rubber–A review of current status

چکیده
The main focus of this review is on soft composites, relatively new to the literature. ballistic fabrics, mechanism energy absorption and parameters affect performance fabrics are reviewed. Adding shear thickening fluid (STF) natural rubber (NR) fabric their potential enhance impact woven considered. Shear mechanism, influence response fabric/STF composite explored. Numerical modelling techniques for estimation resistance outlined. Also role in was investigated. Moreover mechanical characteristics elastomeric composites which contain one rubbery part as either matrix or completely separate media explored well, have not been considered within previous papers so far.
