Dissimilar friction stir welding joints are widely employed in the industrial field due to excellent microstructural and mechanical properties of resulting joints. Nevertheless, further enhance weld properties, addition reinforcement particles on joint-line during process has been proven effective for increasing its performance. In present investigation, microstructure impact behaviour FSWed between AA2024-T351 AA7075-T651 aluminium plates were investigated, considering effect different parameters selected through a full factorial 2k design experiments: both rotational translational speed tool, as well Al2O3-SiC microparticles, considered input parameters.
