Immunoexpression of Adhesion Molecules During Human Fetal Hair Development

چکیده
SummaryBackground: Hair follicles are produced in a cyclical manner and the machinery involved reproduction of these is present since fetal stage. Although extensive research has been done on human hair follicle, very little known about importance adhesion molecules its development. Methods: We analyzed here, immunoexpression beta-1 integrin, p-cadherin, e- cadherin, beta-catenin from 26 formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded skin samples embryos fetus between 12-23 weeks gestational age. Findings: The integrin e-cadherin/p-cadherin were expressed 12 seemed to play role regulating epidermis invagination. Beta-catenin immuno stainingwas negative all cases; down regulation this protein may be necessary for development thus facilitating follicle growth. Conclusion: Adhesion essential growth proliferation; integrins cadherins major process. More studies needed describe

Expression of cell adhesion molecules during human preimplantation embryo development.
Formation of a fully differentiated, implantation competent blastocyst requires the expression of a complex repertoire of molecules. However, the events that drive morphogenesis are poorly elucidated in the human embryo. In this work, we describe the amplification of representative cDNAs from morphologically and developmentally normal, individual human embryos at all stages from pronucleate to ...
متن کاملAdhesion molecules in skin development: morphogenesis of feather and hair.
Figure 9 summarizes the morphogenetic process of feather and hair. Hair of feathers are formed from a layer of homogeneously distributed mesenchymal cells. The mesenchymal cells start to condense to form foci in response to some unidentified induction signal (Fig. 9B). Several adhesion molecules, including L-CAM, N-CAM, integrin, tenascin, as well as proteoglycan, are involved. These adhesion m...

متن کاملUpregulation of aortic adhesion molecules during aging.
To investigate effects of aging on adhesion molecules (AMs), the present study assessed the expressions of aortic P-selectin and vascular adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) in young (6-month-old) and old (24-month-old) Fischer 344 rats fed ad libitum (AL) or calorie-restricted diets. Results showed increased levels of aortic P-selectin and VCAM-1 in the old AL rats, causing excessive leukocyte infilt...
