چکیده
Catalase is one of the crucial antioxidant enzymes with diverse applications in textile, food industries, wastewater treatment, cosmetics, and pharmaceutics, which, however, highly sensitive to environmental challenges. Resisting loss activity prolongation formulation storage can be achieved via catalase entrapment into insoluble carriers. Affordable degradable vaterite proposed as amicable material for immobilization. To improve carrier properties vaterite, it was co-precipitated mucin from pig's stomach producing ca 5 ?m hybrid mucin/vaterite microparticles. impregnated crystals by means adsorption without chemical modifications. The presence matrix partially hinders penetration reduces capacity (for 0.1 mg mL?1 catalase, 2.3 vs 1.5 g?1 pristine microparticles, respectively) but significantly promotes protection upon under action temperature, organic solvent (acetonitrile), proteolytic enzyme (trypsin). Hybrid microcrystals are pH-sensitive better retain at pH 3–5 due catalase-mucin complexation. Immobilized used 5–6 consecutive cycles until loses catalytic activity. Altogether, these findings indicate promises microparticles immobilization enzymes.

متن کاملCo-Immobilization of Superoxide Dismutase with Catalase on Soft Microparticles Formed by Self-Assembly of Amphiphilic Poly(Aspartic Acid)
Through genetic engineering technology, catalase (CAT) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) have been separately fused to an elastin-like polypeptide (ELP). Thus, the enzymes can be purified through phase transition. Hexadecylamine-modified poly(aspartic acid) (HPASP) is able to self-assemble, forming soft microparticles. The HPASP microparticles were used to co-immobilize SOD-ELP and CAT-ELP through...
