چکیده
Leaf rust caused by Puccinia triticina Eriks. (Pt) is one of the most devastating fungal pathogens affecting wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) production worldwide. Deployment resistant cultivars environmentally friendly approach to control disease. In this study, thirty-seven lines from Hubei and Shaanxi provinces in China were evaluated for seedling resistance greenhouse using eighteen Pt races. These also tested slow rusting field 2014 2018 growing seasons. Eleven molecular markers closely associated with known Lr genes used as part postulation process. Seven genes, 1, 13, 18, 14a, 26, 34 46 either singly or combination postulated twenty-five cultivars. Lr1 Lr26 commonly identified detected thirteen ten cultivars, respectively. Lr13 Lr46 each found four five Lr34 was present three Lr18 Lr14a cultivar Xi'nong 538. Six displayed tests. The study can be parents crosses aimed at pyramiding deployment leaf China.

Identification of Leaf Rust Resistance Genes in Selected Egyptian Wheat Cultivars by Molecular Markers
Leaf rust, caused by Puccinia triticina Eriks., is a common and widespread disease of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in Egypt. Host resistance is the most economical, effective, and ecologically sustainable method of controlling the disease. Molecular markers help to determine leaf rust resistance genes (Lr genes). The objective of this study was to identify Lr genes in fifteen wheat cultivars fr...
متن کاملMolecular markers for leaf rust resistance genes in wheat.
Over 100 genes of resistance to rust fungi: Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici, (47 Lr - leaf rust genes), P. striiformis (18 Yr - yellow rust genes) and P. graminis f. sp. tritici (41 Sr - stripe rust genes) have been identified in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and its wild relatives according to recent papers. Sixteen Lr resistance genes have been mapped using restriction fragments length polym...
متن کاملSimultaneous Transfer of Leaf Rust and Powdery Mildew Resistance Genes from Hexaploid Triticale Cultivar Sorento into Bread Wheat
Wheat powdery mildew, caused by Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici, and wheat leaf rust, caused by Puccinia triticina Eriks, are two important diseases that severely threaten wheat production. Sorento, a hexaploid triticale cultivar from Poland, shows high resistance to the wheat powdery mildew isolate E09 and the leaf rust isolate PHT in Beijing, China. To introduce resistance genes into common ...

a study was conducted to identify ssr markers linked to leaf rust resistance genes lr24 and lr28 and to be used for marker-assisted selection (mas) to transfer both genes to a widely cultivated wheat variety mp 3299 under rainfed condition. f2 individuals of the cross mp 3299×nil pbw 343 were used for generating genotypic data employing closely linked scar markers s73719 and s421570 to lr24 and...
متن کاملSeedling Resistance to Stem Rust and Molecular Marker Analysis of Resistance Genes in Wheat Cultivars of Yunnan, China
Stem rust is one of the most potentially harmful wheat diseases, but has been effectively controlled in China since 1970s. However, the interest in breeding wheat with durable resistance to stem rust has been renewed with the emergence of Ug99 (TTKSK) virulent to the widely used resistance gene Sr31, and by which the wheat stem rust was controlled for 40 years in wheat production area worldwide...
