چکیده
One of the diseases that has greatest negative effect on peach production is brown rot, produced by fungus, Monilinia spp. The way to diminish this disease selection genotypes with a high tolerance while maintaining fruit quality. In study, laxa and agronomic biochemical characteristics forty-two hybrids derived from ‘Andross’ × ‘Calante’ cross were studied under controlled conditions during two consecutive years, compared their parents. assessment rot was estimated inoculated M. laxa, recording incidence colonization, lesion diameter extent establish severity colonization. At harvest, physicochemical traits antioxidant compounds (vitamin C, total phenolics, flavonoids relative capacity) determined. We have found inverse relationships between firmness, pH, titratable acidity contents symptoms in fruit. Our results confirm accumulation antioxidants tends reduce colonization Principal component analysis allowed genotypes, AC-24 AC-93, ‘Calanda’-type peaches known standard quality, content minimal susceptibility rot.

Identification of Drought Tolerant Oilseed Rape Genotypes using Multivariate Analysis
Extended Abstract Introduction and Objective: Drought stress as one of the most important abiotic stress is the main limiting factor of oilseed rape cultivation in arid and semi-arid climates. Therefore, the identification of drought tolerant genotypes is the essential programs in these regions. One of the appropriate methods to identify drought tolerant genotypes is the use of stress toleranc...
متن کاملMonilinia Species Causing Brown Rot of Peach in China
In this study, 145 peaches and nectarines displaying typical brown rot symptoms were collected from multiple provinces in China. A subsample of 26 single-spore isolates were characterized phylogenetically and morphologically to ascertain species. Phylogenetic analysis of internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions 1 and 2, glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (G3PDH), β-tubulin (TUB2) reveale...

متن کاملCharacterization and PCR-based detection of benzimidazole-resistant isolates of Monilinia laxa in California.
Monilinia laxa is a pathogen of brown rot of stone fruit and almond in California, causing blossom blights and fruit rots. In this study, low-level resistance to the benzimidazole fungicides benomyl and thiophanate-methyl was detected in field isolates of M laxa collected from stone fruits and almonds in California. Low-resistant (LR) isolates grew in potato dextrose agar (PDA) plates amended w...
متن کاملIdentification of Drought Tolerant Wheat Genotypes Based on Seedling Traits
Drought significantly reduces yield of many crop plants including wheat in the world. Identification of wheat genotypes that can thrive on limited water is vital to boost the wheat production of rainfed areas. Forty wheat genotypes were screened for drought tolerance using 0, 7.5, 15 and 22.5% Polyethylene Ethylene Glycol 6000 solutions at PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan ...
