چکیده

Plant growth inhibitors (PGIs) in rice (Oryza sativa), or allelochemicals, are secondary metabolites that either exudated by plants to cope with natural competitors produced during the decomposition of by-products paddy fields. Of these, major groups PGIs include phenolics, flavonoids, terpenoids, alkaloids, steroids, and fatty acids, which also exhibit potential medicinal pharmaceutical properties. Recently, exploitation has attracted considerable attention from scientists worldwide. The biosynthesis, exudation, release dependent on environmental conditions, relevant gene expression, biodiversity among varieties. Along mechanism clarification, numerous analytical methods have been improved effectively support identification isolation last few decades. This paper provides an overview techniques used for determining extracting those compounds rice. In particular, features, advantages, limitations conventional upgraded extraction comprehensively reported discussed. gradually replaced advanced consisting pressurized liquid (PLE), microwave-assisted (MAE), solid-phase (SPE). Meanwhile, thin-layer chromatography (TLC), (LC), gas (GC), mass spectrometry (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), high-resolution (HR-MS), infrared spectroscopy (IR), near-infrared (NIRS), X-ray crystallography tools PGI confirmation. With smart agriculture becoming more prevalent, statistics will help provide useful datasets building autonomous model safer weed control. Conceivably, efficient not only increase yield economic value but may pave way research directions development sustainable farming methods.

Identification of predominant epiphytic and endophytic bacterial isolates in rice seeds effective for enhancement of seed germination and plant growth

ABSTRACT-During rice growing season, the symptomless rice seeds from different paddy fields in Guilan province, Iran, were collected. After isolation of epiphytic and endophytic bacteria, 39 isolates including 19 epiphytes and 20 endophytes were selected based on the predominant characteristics. Five Operational Taxonomic Units (OTUs) were obtained based on PCR-RFLP of 16S r-DN...

Isolation and identification of Eurotium species from contaminated rice by morphology and DNA sequencing

30 milled rice samples were collected from retailers in four states of Malaysia. These samples were evaluated for Eurotium spp. contaminations by direct plating on malt extract salt agar (MESA). All Eurotium were isolated and identified based on morphology and nucleotide sequences of internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1) and ITS2 of the rDNA.  Four Eurotium species (E. rubrum, E. amstelodami, E....

Isolation and identification of hypotensive principles in red-mold rice.

During an initial search for pharmacologically active principles in red-mold rice, two hypotensive compounds were isolated and identified. The active principles, A-3 and B-1, were fractionated and purified from the EtOH extract of red-mold rice prepared with Monascus pilosus through extraction with H2O, Amberlite CG-120 column chromatographies and high-performance liquid chromatography on an OD...
