چکیده

A number of functional foods containing seaweed-derived peptides are currently commercialized. Some seaweed derived peptide-containing products include Wakame peptide® and Nori peptide S®. To develop with the addition Ulva spp. peptides, isolation identification dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV) inhibitory from hydrolysates this was performed. were fractionated purified sequentially by anion exchange, ultrafiltration, reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography. The fractions obtained each analytical step collected in vitro enzyme activity evaluated. applied purification process increased DPP-IV activity. inhibition mechanism most active fraction evaluated it analyzed MALDI-TOF. SLAVSVH identified. It has 57% hydrophobic residues their sequence (including Ala branched chain amino acids), which could be a common feature among DPP-IV. Molecular docking analysis showed that SLAVSVH/DPP-IV complex stabilized CH–π interactions between side chains Val6 indol Trp629, rings His7 Trp563. energy values for under study indicate is good candidate to inhibit

Rapid Identification of Dipeptidyl Peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) Inhibitory Peptides from Ruditapes philippinarum Hydrolysate.

Dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) inhibitory peptides were rapidly identified from Ruditapes philippinarum hydrolysate. The hydrolysate was fractionated by ethanol precipitation and preparative reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). The fraction which showed the highest DPP-IV inhibitory activity was then analyzed by a high-throughput nano-liquid chromatography electrosp...

The green seaweed Ulva: a model system to study morphogenesis

Green macroalgae, mostly represented by the Ulvophyceae, the main multicellular branch of the Chlorophyceae, constitute important primary producers of marine and brackish coastal ecosystems. Ulva or sea lettuce species are some of the most abundant representatives, being ubiquitous in coastal benthic communities around the world. Nonetheless the genus also remains largely understudied. This rev...

Identification of Novel Human Dipeptidyl Peptidase-IV Inhibitors of Natural Origin (Part II): In Silico Prediction in Antidiabetic Extracts

BACKGROUND Natural extracts play an important role in traditional medicines for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and are also an essential resource for new drug discovery. Dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV) inhibitors are potential candidates for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, and the effectiveness of certain antidiabetic extracts of natural origin could be, at least partially, expl...

wuthering heights and the concept of marality/a sociological study of the novel

to discuss my point, i have collected quite a number of articles, anthologies, and books about "wuthering heights" applying various ideas and theories to this fantastic story. hence, i have come to believe that gadamer and jauss are rightful when they claim that "the individaul human mind is the center and origin of all meaning," 3 that reading literature is a reader-oriented activity, that it ...
