Hypertensive Pregnancy Disorders and Lipid Profiles: A Cohort Study
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background: The global prevalence of hypertensive pregnancy disorders (HPDs) is 5.2%-8.2%. Lipid profiles made up triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL), and high-density (HDL) could affect the arterial vessel wall leading to HPDs. Preeclampsia (PE), among most severe maternal-fetal HPDs, has affected 0.2%-9.2% all pregnancies. current study aimed investigate role lipid in predicting PE first early third trimesters pregnancy. Material Method: A large-scale prospective cohort was conducted from onward a normal population south Iran. Fasting blood samples were examined for TG, TC, HDL, LDL, as well LDL/HDL ratio levels trimesters. Result: Of 486 pregnant women, 37 women developed which 20 (54%) PE. In group, serum profiles, including significantly raised with gestational age (P<0.05). After adjusting maternal body mass index, associated higher risk (odds [OR]=1.025, 1.035, 1.03, 2.08, 1.026, 1.044, 2.14, P<0.001) regarding trimesters, respectively. optimum cut-off points ratios estimated be 180.5 mg/dl, 197.5 136 3.66 first, 220 204 155.5 3.97 Conclusion: Dyslipidemia during may help predict development that can sustained lipid-lowering drugs.
