Hydrothermal characteristics of a cold regional tunnel under different climatic scenarios

Cold regional tunnels have been encountering numerous frost damages as a result of dynamic changes in hydrothermal conditions tunnel structural layers. The climate change is recognized major contributor for the problems. In this study, high-speed railway are evaluated under different scenarios based on in-situ data and numerical analysis. Subsequently, effect thicknesses insulation board inside compared reasonable thickness obtained. main findings follows: 1) temperature unfrozen water content gradually decreased ice increased with service time early 15 years. maximum frozen depth occurs at sidewall it 1.64 m within 30 years after construction. 2) significantly affected by annual mean air (AMAT) range (ARAT). decreases AMAT, but increases ARAT. 3) After XPS 5 cm laid layers, most unfavorable position 0.55 ?C cold season, which suggests that disappeared method can be used to protect against damages. This paper provide basis heat design tunnels.
