Hydrogeochemical Assessment of Groundwater of Taluka Chachro, Thar Parker, district, Sindh, Pakistan

چکیده

The study was conducted to evaluate the hydrogeochemistry of groundwater. Twenty-six groundwater samples were analysed for quality Chachro Taluka. EC and TDS contents in most water above WHO (2011) recommended limits. Almost all collected from dugwells located area have elevated concentrations Na Cl exceeding guidelines. Results Ca, Mg show that 92% 96% within prescribed limit respectively. Whereas, HCO3, SO4, NO3 contnets 88%, 77%, 69% respectively are also Statistical results revealed a dominating trend among cations Na+>Ca+2>Mg+2>K+ anions occur order abundance, as Cl->HCO3->SO4 ->NO3, index (WQI) shows 15% belong poor category, 35% found belonging very category.While, remaining 50% wells unsuitable drinking purpose
