The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect aluminum and mitigating potential H2O2 on stress antioxidant responses in canola (Brassica napus var. oleifera (Moench) Delile) affecting emergence initial growth plants. Canola seeds, cultivar Hyola 61, were treated with different concentrations solution (0.0, 0.075, 0.15 M), later sown under 10, 20, 30 mmolc dm-3). After 20 days plant emergence, survival characteristics evaluated. 30, 40, 50, 60 after height, chlorophyll index, a fluorescence, activity superoxide dismutase roots determined. is sensitive aluminum, treatment seeds M mitigated caused by highest dose aluminum. enabled high but did not favor seedling or growth. increase SOD activity. fluorescence proved sensitivity presence maintained stability functionality photosystem II.
