Hybrid Curved Precast Deep Beams Composed Partially from Concrete Made with Recycled Concrete Aggregate

The present work presents the results of experimental investigation using crushed concrete as recycled coarse aggregates (RCA) and new models hybrid deep beams. Six specimens beams have been tested under static loads: two controls three with different types hybridization for sections (horizontal, curved, arched). This study aims to search optimum distribution such that lowest cost is obtained RCA from building demolition waste introduced into mixes at 100%. behavior has tracked by cracking failure loads, loading history, crack width, toughness. It was found capacities increased 7.7, 18.7, 17.2, 28.2%, respectively, in horizontal, arched, arched inclined stirrups compared control specimen RCA.
