Working at an oil and gas facility, such as a drilling rig, production processing or storage involves various challenges, including health safety risks. It is possible to leverage emerging digital technologies smart sensors, wearable mobile devices, big data analytics, cloud computing, extended reality technologies, robotic systems, drones mitigate the challenges faced by workers. While these are not new industry, most of its existing transformation initiatives follow business process-centric approaches, in which critical driver technology adoption enhancement production, efficiency, revenue. As result, they may address workers among essential assets it vital This paper proposes human-centric transformational framework for industry deploy enhance their workers' health, safety, working conditions. The outlines oilfield workers, introduces system architecture implements transformation, discusses opportunities proposed framework, summarizes key impediment framework.
