HSD28 Cosmetic Dermatology Product Use in Specialty Dermatology Networks

The objective of this research was to characterize the use cosmetic dermatology products in patients seen at specialty networks United States (US). Patients from 6 within OMNY Health Dermatology Database with a treatment 2013-2021 were included. Demographic characteristics tabulated first treatment. Cosmetic treatments defined as one following categories, excluding those utilized for medical purposes: fillers, neurotoxins, laser surgery, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection. Secular trends percentage described by calendar year. Across all years, total 147,628 identified among approximately 4.6 million procedure data 2013-2021. Distributions gender (87% female), race (89% white), age (27% ≥ 61 71% 21-60 3% ≤ 20 years), region (57% South, 26% West, 16% Midwest, 1% Northeast) procedures data, patient percentages ranged 0.6% 0.9% peaking 2018, 0.8% 1.5% 2013. Neurotoxin increased 2013 2% 2021. PRP negligible over observation period. Results provide insights into US. increased, while fillers surgery utilization displayed more variability time. As new are developed introduced, future analyses would be helpful understand uptake these patients.
