How to tame a free non-laminar Savart sheet into individual jets?

چکیده

In this article, we study the division of a non-laminar Savart sheet into individual jets by mean local disturbances. We paint precise portrait free formed vertical impact jet on horizontal disk, its evolution in air and break up. then generate disturbances, outside disk circumference, triggered N radial triangular prisms placed directly sheet. show that, under given flow conditions geometrical parameters for prisms, splits jets. Depending incoming rate Q geometry prism, number n can be either stable (and equal to jets) or variable due elastic coalescing neighboring Phase diagrams (Q, n) are obtained from experimental measurements different prisms. A semi-empirical model, which explains generation jets, is established. Finally, characterize droplets emitted terms diameters.
