How to make Monitoring more attractive to Bridge Owners

Abstract There is a wide gap between bridge owners needs and scientist's desire. Monitoring based assessment of bridges has therefore not really arrived in managers processes. We have to do the necessary only, work out clear objectives, present plausible explanations, offer interfaces LCE BIM, create standard applications with plenty references submit results that fit into owners’ process. How this will be explained presenting actual cases from world longest suspension (Canakkale Bridge 2023m span), several India China as well Offshore Applications.
